Comprehensive Care Brigades served older adults in Caracas

This Saturday, May 16, the Comprehensive Care Brigades for Grandmothers and Grandparents of the Fatherland held a social day at Plaza El Venezolano in Caracas, as part of the national deployment of care aimed at older adults in situations of social vulnerability.
During the activity, brigade members and volunteers from the Soy Nieto movement shared with older adults and offered medical services, barbering, recreation and comprehensive support, in coordination with different national and municipal institutions, according to a Venezuelan Television report.
The day was attended by the Mayor's Office of Caracas, through the Municipal Institute for the Care of Older Adults, together with the Great Venezuela Youth Mission, the We Are Grandchildren movement and volunteer organizations.
The organizers highlighted that in Caracas there are more than 3,743 circles of grandparents that benefit more than 60,000 elderly people, as part of the social protection policies promoted by the National Executive.
In addition, the people served in the central part of the capital expressed their gratitude for the free and supportive care provided during the day.
