This Sunday, February 1st, the day “Our Culture is Peace” was held to honor the creative hands of wristbands and wristbands, in connection with the celebration in Venezuela of the National Day of Dolls and Rag Dolls.

This was announced by the president of the Art Network and coordinator of the Artisan Heart Movement , Aracelis Garc í a, who, from the urban planning Simón Bolívar, in Ciudad Tiuna, recalled that this Monday the wristbands and wristbands will read the “Manifesto for the Right to Tenderness” in all Bolivar squares in the country.
In addition, in the activity promoted by the Great Mission Viva Venezuela mi Patria Querida, she highlighted that “these women subvert reality with their art; we are taking workshops to schools and communes to ensure that this transformative tradition continues to grow.”

For her part, the artisan Karina Rivas emphasized the resilient nature of her work. “We make rag dolls because they are our fighting weapon to face the challenges in our country,” he said.

For the day in Tiuna City, different entities of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture and institutions linked to art worked in synergy: the Venezuelan National Circus, the National Dance, Theater and Music Company, and the Comunicalle group, who offered a varied program for the enjoyment of the attendees.

In addition, educational spaces were set up where children and adults participated in workshops on stamping, painting, making bracelets and creating rag dolls, thus consolidating a Sunday of peace and community encounter.
