This Sunday, February
1st, the day “Our Culture is Peace” was held to honor the creative
hands of wristbands and wristbands, in connection with the celebration
in Venezuela of the National Day of Dolls and Rag Dolls.
For her part,
the artisan Karina Rivas emphasized the resilient nature of her work. “We make rag
dolls because they are our fighting weapon to face the challenges
in our country,” he said.
For the day in Tiuna City, different entities
of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture and institutions linked to
art worked in synergy: the Venezuelan National Circus, the National Dance, Theater and
Music Company, and the Comunicalle group, who offered a varied program for the enjoyment of the attendees.
In addition, educational spaces were set up where children and adults participated in workshops on stamping, painting, making bracelets and creating rag dolls, thus consolidating a Sunday of peace and community encounter.
