CONVIASA inaugurated commercial flight Caracas-Algiers

This Sunday, the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services S.A (CONVIASA) inaugurated the Caracas-Algiers route (capital of Algeria) as part of cooperation agreements between the two nations.

“We expanded our wings, to strengthen bilateral relations between both nations, and to offer passengers the opportunity to discover this destination,” said Minister of Popular Power for Transportation and President of CONVIASA, Ramón Celestino Velásquez Araguayán through the social network X.

The first direct flight by CONVIASA departed at 8:00am local time and landed in Algerian lands at 22:52 Venezuelan time.

“We landed in Algeria to make official the first flight of the Caracas-Algiers route of our flag carrier @LAConviasa as a result of efforts between our president @NicolasMaduro and his counterpart, Abdelmadjid Tebboune,” said Velásquez Araguayán.
