CONVIASA will open flights to Mexico

The Venezuelan airline CONVIASA announced the opening of new flights to Cancun with a connection to Mexico City from La Chinita Airport (Maracaibo-Zulia) and another one that would take off from the city of Barquisimeto (Lara).

According to a note published by the newspaper Última Noticias, CONVIASA will use Embraer 190 equipment with 104 passengers for transfers.

The scheduled date for the Barquisimeto-Cancun route would be July 3 with two weekly frequencies: it leaves on Thursdays at 21:20, and returns Friday at 5 am.

The Maracaibo (La Chinita) - Cancun route is scheduled to start on July 6 and would be two weekly frequencies: departing from Maracaibo on Wednesdays and Sundays and returning from Cancun on Thursday and Monday.

In this way, it connects to Mexico City, through Felipe Ángeles International Airport.
