The coordinator of the Program for Peace and Democratic Coexistence, Ernesto Villegas, accompanied by other members of this body, visited the facilities of the Bolivarian National Police Corps (CPNB) in El Helicoide, with the purpose of coordinating actions aimed at social stability and coexistence in the country.

According to a review on the website, Última Snoticias.com, Villegas invited the police force to join the dialogue tables promoted by the commission together with various sectors of Venezuelan society, with the objective of building proposals that contribute to the strengthening of democratic coexistence. He also highlighted the importance of ensuring adequate facilities for the well-being of law enforcement officers, as well as for their families and nearby communities.

Officials who were affected during acts of violence that occurred in 2014, 2017 and 2024 participated in the day of debate. In this regard, Minister Villegas highlighted: “Listening to testimonies and proposals from PNB officials injured during acts of political violence, whose voice is also essential to hear for the construction of a Venezuela of peace and coexistence.”

There was also a tour of different renovated spaces at the headquarters of the PNB, including the Antonio Infante Theater, the Ruth Rangel Medical Center and the Hugo Rafael Chávez Police History Museum.
