The National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) is making progress in electrification plans in the island region, benefiting more than 8,000 families, an effort that is being carried out through joint work with communities, after popular consultations that have made it possible to identify specific needs in the area of electrical energy.

According to a press release, the actions include the installation of more than 20 poles and 15 transformers, as well as the replacement of 2,700 meters of low and medium voltage lines, in addition, the electrical grid was extended with an additional 500 meters and its corresponding elements. This technical process guarantees a substantial improvement in the quality of the electrical service.

The CORPOELEC team provides constant technical support and advice during the project phases started in 2025, ensuring that each community receives the necessary support, an initiative that optimizes energy supply.
