CORPOELEC optimizes operation of transmission lines in Zulia

On a permanent basis, technicians from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carry out preventive maintenance work on electrical substations and transmission lines in the state of Zulia.
The tasks being carried out include correction of hot spots and thermographic inspection at the Morochas Electrical Substation, located in the Lagunillas municipality.
In addition, on urban 138 kV transmission lines, a day of removal of more than 90 volantín cables was carried out, guaranteeing greater reliability and operability in the transmission of electrical energy, according to a press release from the state power company.
The actions are part of the Plan for the Maintenance and Adaptation of Electrical Installations in the Zulian region, which are promoted by the Ministry of People's Power for Electric Energy (MPPEE) in order to strengthen the National Electricity System (SEN).
