CORPOELEC rehabilitates power grid for the benefit of more than 41,000 Guaireños

The inhabitants of Carayaca are the biggest beneficiaries of these efforts

Workers from the National Electricity Corporation (CORPOELEC) rehabilitated the electrical grid of the Carayaca A2, A3, B2 and Picure B1 circuits, in order to guarantee optimal electricity service to 41,980 inhabitants of the Carayaca parish in the state of La Guaira.

According to a press release from CORPOELEC, the work carried out included the repair of low and medium voltage lines, replacement of the low voltage neutral and installation of new electrical components to improve energy distribution in the Taguao, Las Salinas, Puerto Carayaca, Villa Croacia, Oricao, Chichiriviche, Pueblo de Carayaca, La Peñita, La Gonzalera sectors, among other locations in the entity.

In addition, the technical staff replaced a 50 kVA power equipment, with which the transformer bank was strengthened, benefiting residents, merchants and visitors to the tourist area of Las Salinas.
