CORPOELEC strengthens public lighting in Mirandino sectors

Workers from the National Electric Corporation (CORPOELEC) carried out work on the public lighting system for streets and main avenues of the Valles del Tuy axis in Miranda state, with the objective of ensuring road safety for bystanders and drivers.
These tasks included the installation of lamps with 100W LED technology; as well as the rehabilitation of 88 public lighting points in the Nueva Virginia, Lozada Terminal and Santa Teresa III substation, La Raiza National Highway, Carmen 1 del Rosario de Soapire and the La Raiza, Dos Lagunas, Luis Tovar and El Calvario sectors of the municipalities of Independence, Paz Castillo and Simón Bolívar.
In addition, according to a press release from the company, the technical staff installed four control boxes to optimize the public lighting system and provide greater night road safety for pedestrians in the area.
