CORPOZULIA rehabilitated 5.80 km of Troncal 6 del Caribe

The president of the Development Corporation of the Zulian Region (CORPOZULIA), Néstor Reverol, reported that in record time, 4,500 tons of asphalt were dumped to successfully rehabilitate five kilometers 800 meters of the stretch that connects the municipalities of Maracaibo and Mara in the north of the state of Zulia.

“The road rehabilitation of Troncal 6 del Caribe, as part of the transformation of Zulia, was completed in record time,” he said in his account on the social network Instagram.

In a press release, he noted that the paving works were carried out by 1×10 Good Governance Solutions Brigades through CORPOZULIA and the Latin American Railway Infrastructure company (FERROLASA).

He indicated that the stretch from Prolongación Guajira Avenue, in the Ildefonso Vásquez parish, in Maracaibo, to the Simon Bolivar Planetarium, bordering the Mara municipality, was recovered.”

Reverol explained that in this road artery, “of 5,800 meters, 4,500 tons of hot asphalt mixture were placed and the work included cleaning, weeding, pruning and felling, waste collection, demarcation, placement of cat's eyes or reflective patches, signage of pedestrian crossings and painting of speed reducers.”

The recovery of this road benefits communities in the Puerto Caballo, Las Pipelinas and Las Playas sectors, as well as users in the municipalities of Maracaibo, Mara, Guajira because it is the expedited land connection to the Colombian border.
