Councillors of the Bloc de la Patria invite you to participate in the National Popular Consultation 2024

The president of the Carrizal Municipal Council, Morela Figuera, extended the invitation to the community of the Mirandino sector to participate in the National Popular Consultation that will take place this Sunday, April 21

“In this popular consultation, young people aged 15 and over can vote and it is not necessary for them to be registered in the electoral register, only with their identity card can they exercise their right to vote and choose the project that will benefit their community,” Figuera said.

In this regard, he stressed that the projects approved in the consultations will be funded by the National Government and executed by the communities.

“In the last two years, only one project per parish was chosen, but this time the Carrizal municipality has 6 projects,” he said.

For his part, the councilor and president of the commission on Protagonistic Participation of the People and Governance, Ricki Cañizalez, explained that the popular consultation is a dynamic that was born in the Bolivarian State of Miranda and is currently used at the national level as a tool for election.

“The national and regional government continues to believe that only the people really know what their needs are, so on the 21st everyone should vote, because in addition, we have the highest percentage of effectiveness in the execution of the projects, which is 95% of the first popular consultations that were held,” said Cañizalez.

The electoral centers selected for this day are: the Early Childhood Education Centers “Marta de Caleca” and “Cacique Epoima”, the EU State Territorio Del Amacuro and “José Manuel Álvarez”, the communal houses of Las Aguaditas and Potrerito II, among others.
