Members of the Theft Investigations Division of the Bolivarian National Police Force (CPNB) managed to arrest two citizens allegedly linked to a criminal organization “The Foreigners”.

According to information issued by the Ministry of People's Power for Interior Relations, Justice and Peace (MPPRIJP), these citizens were dedicated to stealing from the elderly.

It was also detailed that the procedure was carried out on Lecuna Avenue, Santa Rosalía parish, Libertador municipality, Caracas, where they were apprehended after extensive fieldwork and police investigation.
According to the findings made, both citizens would be part of a group made up of people of other nationalities, who, taking advantage of their advanced ages, between 50 and 70 years old, approached the victims without arousing suspicion, managing to build trust and then subdue them through threats and taking them to their homes, where the robberies took place,” the Ministry reported.
