CPNB arrested a subject for illegal possession of a weapon of war (+Sucre)

The Bolivarian National Police Corps
(CPNB) succeeded in apprehending a
citizen linked to the Special Organized Crime Group
(GEDO) El Gordo, for the alleged commission of the crime of
illegal possession of weapons of war and ammunition in the east of the country.
According to information issued by this police force, the procedure was carried out on the main street of the La Ceiba sector, Irapa parish of the Mariño municipality, Sucre state.
It was known
that during the intervention, a
black AK-47 assault rifle was seized, which had its serials devastated to evade
registry control; 45 ammunition caliber 7.62×39 millimeters and a magazine corresponding to high-caliber weapons.
