Creative Robotics Olympiad 2025 begins regional phase in Zulia this Friday

This Friday, May 2, starting at 8:00 in the morning, the regional stage of the 2025 Creative Robotics Olympiad will take place in the state of Zulia, an event that will serve as a prelude to the national competition.

The meeting will take place at the Club El Tablazo in Pequiven, located at the intersection of Circunvalación Avenue 2 and 132nd Street of the entity.

During phase three of the event, the technical verification of tutors and participants will be carried out, a process that includes the adaptation of the projects by the teams and the corresponding evaluation. In this instance, it will be determined which proposals meet the established requirements to be recognized as functional devices or prototypes under the specific rules of each category, according to a press release from VTV.

The competition is organized in three modalities: Adventure, aimed at participants between eight and 12 years of age; Challenge, aimed at young people between 13 and 15 years old; and Innovation, a category in which groups made up of teenagers between 16 and 19 years old compete.

It should be noted that the 2025 Creative Robotics Olympiad is promoted by the National Government as part of the National Scientific Seedbeds Program, an initiative focused on promoting training in science and technology from an early age.
