Carlos Beraldi, lawyer for the former president of Argentina Cristina Fernández, confirmed that they will turn to international organizations to review the six-year prison sentence and politically proscribes the former president for life.

In statements to the press, Beraldi said that it is one of the strategies they will surely follow, and explained that they will go, first, to the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR), which evaluates violations of constitutional guarantees and that helps all people.

Subsequently, the case will go to the Inter-American Court once the IACHR considers admissible the complaint of the one who until now is the head of the Justicialist Party (PJ), predicted Beraldi, who ruled out that the former president should seek asylum in an embassy or in another country.

The defender assured that Cristina will complete all the steps of the process and will go to Comodoro Py next Wednesday to be detained and housed in a federal prison.

He must be there until the request for house arrest, which Beraldi has already filed in court, is resolved, the Prensa Latina website reported .
