Cuba congratulated Venezuela for celebrating the 214th Anniversary of the signing of the Act of Independence

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, extended his congratulations to the Bolivarian Government and the People of Venezuela this Saturday, July 5, on the occasion of the commemoration of the 214th Anniversary of the signing of the Act of Independence in 1811.

On his account on the social network X, he said: “We congratulate the Government and people of Venezuela on the 214th anniversary of their independence.”

“We reiterate our support and solidarity with the Bolivarian and Chavista Revolution and their civic-military union and Cuba's will to continue advancing cooperation between sister nations,” he stressed.

Cuba and Venezuela maintain strong political, economic and cultural relations, in addition to agreeing on governmental positions and practices on important issues of bilateral, regional and global interest.
