Cuba Denounces U.S. Attempts to Subvert World Order

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, pointed out that the Government of the United States (USA), led by President Donald Trump, is trying to subvert the world order with its behavior in various United Nations agencies.

“Positions of the United States in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), have broken historic consensus and objected to issues on Climate Change and the 2030 Agenda,” the foreign minister wrote in his X account.

Likewise, the diplomat added that this attitude evidences the “isolationist policy promoted” by the US Government “to impose a new division of the world, contrary to multilateralism and the UN Charter”.

Rodríguez recalled that the Trump administration has aimed to review the contribution of the United States to several UN agencies, based on a report that questions which international organizations promote feelings against the country.
