Cuban culture will resonate at the 7th Meeting of Knowledge, Sounds and Flavors

From this Tuesday, April 14th and until Thursday, April 16th, the 5th chapter of the 7th Meeting of Knowledge, Sounds and Flavors will be held, referring to the cultural wealth of Cuba.
De according to information from the Ministry
for Culture, this Tuesday there will be a discussion led by
musician and researcher Franklin Rojas. Next, Niurka “Hera” Muros,
known as “The owner of the key”, will hold a workshop on the musical
and dance genres Danzón, Chachachá, Son and Bolero.
The
day will continue on Wednesday, April 15, with an exploration of percussion
by teachers Douglas Mora and Tomás Fajardo. In addition, a
class will be offered on the formation and origins of genres and fusions such as
Cuban Jazz, Mambo and Chachachá, led by professor and historian Juan Carlos Báez.
Finalmente on Thursday 16th, closes the cycle
with a musical and dance show that will integrate all the episodes referring to the
countries Colombia, Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Cuba and Venezuela. And there
will be a presentation by teacher and cultor Noel Márquez and his
artistic project “Caribe, Sing and Dancing”.
