Cultivators, creators and authorities of the Ministry of Popular Power for Culture held a meeting in the state of Nueva Esparta to evaluate the progress of the cultural programs in execution and define lines of work for the second half of 2026.

During the day, representatives of different cultural sectors presented a diagnosis of the potential of the island entity, with the purpose of strengthening institutional coordination and promoting actions aimed at the preservation of regional identities.

The Minister for Culture, Raúl Cazal, highlighted the importance of the meeting and noted that it is part of the efforts to strengthen the role of popular power and to advance the processes of institutional transformation promoted by the National Executive.

For her part, Deputy Minister Gabriela Simoza explained that the meeting allowed us to unify criteria and guide the ministry's strategic lines of work, with an emphasis on promoting peace, unity and coexistence through culture.

The authorities confirmed their willingness to maintain permanent dialogue with cultural leaders and organizations to consolidate initiatives that promote inclusion, identity and cultural development in Nueva Esparta.
