The Venezuelan Corporation of Guiana (CVG) celebrated the Eighth Graduation of the National Training System, recognizing 101 workers who successfully completed their study and training programs.
The conference, held at the Antimano Plant of the National Steel Complex (CSN), also served as a stage for the inauguration of the new “Jacobo Torres de León” Specialized Training Center, a space designed to strengthen the technical and professional skills of the working class in the industrial sector.
During the event, the Minister of Popular Power for Ecological Mining Development and president of CVG, Héctor Silva, highlighted the leading role of workers in domestic production. “We are facing a working class that is being formed, reinventing itself and responding with commitment to the country's challenges,” he said.
The training policy implemented by the CVG is part of the Venezuelan State's strategic plan for productive transformation, with the objective of ensuring the sustainability and efficiency of basic industries.
The new training center will offer specialized technical programs, adapted to the operational needs of the holding companies, which will make it possible to move towards a production model with greater added value.
