Day of social care benefit inhabitants of the Cataure Agricultural Socialist Commune in La Guaira

Hundreds of inhabitants of the Cataure Agricultural Socialist Commune, located in the Vargas municipality of the state of La Guaira, were favored with a full day of social care.

The intervention ranged from the replacement of cookers to the total rehabilitation of educational and health infrastructures.

The actions carried out include the replacement of 250 domestic gas cylinders and more than 60 cookers, and the delivery of supplies for producers, such as seeds, shovels, rakes and pipes. In addition, 20 families obtained their land titles, to guarantee their legal security.

With regard to the health area, the local outpatient clinic was completely rehabilitated and 146 social benefits were provided, complemented by comprehensive medical days.

“In the education sector, the Juan Antonio Fonseca school received a total refurbishment that included ceilings, walls, bathrooms, sports courts, dining room and all classrooms, for the benefit of 123 students between elementary and high school,” VTV reported.
