Death toll from earthquakes in Guatemala rose to six

On July 8, Guatemala recorded a series of earthquakes of up to 5.6 degrees in magnitude, with an epicenter in the southwestern part of the country.
The newspaper Prensa Libre confirmed that the number of fatalities rose to six, after two deaths were previously reported.
According to the same media, more than 300 people were injured and dozens of buildings were affected, according to the TASS news agency.
Authorities continue to evaluate the damage and carry out operations in the impacted areas.
