Defeat of Leones del Caracas gives way to Cardenales de Lara to the final of the LVBP

The Tiburones de La Guaira team beat the ninth in the capital, Leones del Caracas, in the game played at the University Stadium, six races by three.

With this setback, the hairy ones are eliminated from the 2023-2024 season of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP) and give way to Los Cardenales de Lara for the final.

Tiburones opened the scoring with a solo home run by Wilson Garcia. In the second episode, Franklin Barreto drove in two runs with a three-pointer and Brayan Rocchio added another line. In the fifth inning, Danry Vásquez gave a single boost for Alcides Escobar to score another goal. Vásquez pushed one more in the seventh inning.

The team from the capital tried to turn the game around but failed and with the defeat they gave way to Cardenales de Lara to the final of the country's rented ball.
