The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, congratulated the Navegantes del Magallanes team, after winning the 14th title of the Venezuelan Professional Baseball League (LVBP).

Through his Telegram account, Rodríguez highlighted the “performance in the 2025-2026 season, reaffirms the competitive strength of the organization. I also salute the performance of Caribes de Anzoátegui as a worthy finalist.”

In addition, he highlighted the “success of this edition of our national league reflects the high level of commitment of athletes, technical staff and fans, consolidating baseball as a vital sport for leisure and the identity of Venezuela.”

The president accompanied her words with different images, including that of Commander Hugo Chávez wearing the jersey of the champion team of the 2025-2026 season.
