Faced with threats from the United States (USA) to “use force” against Venezuela, the Executive Vice President of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed that laws will prevail against attempts to steal the country's resources.
“The only thing that will be imposed is the force of the law against those who intend to steal Venezuela's energy resources,” said the Minister of Popular Power for Hydrocarbons, in response to statements made by the Secretary of Energy of the North American country, Chris Wright.
Rodríguez emphasized that “the oil colonialism exercised by the United States during the opprobious puntofixism was buried by Commander Hugo Chávez. Today, Venezuela's energy resources and giant oil and gas reserves belong to the people and are at the service of national development and fair international cooperation.”
In this regard, he stressed that “whoever wants our oil and gas must pay for it. The tyranny of the hegemonic economic aggressor will never return!”
