Delcy Rodríguez: Our Glorious People Rejected Confrontation and Chose Peace

The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, highlighted this Wednesday the Venezuelan people's vocation for peace, after more than a month of military aggression perpetrated by the United States (USA) against the country.

“We highlight the strength and historical conscience of Venezuelans @s, after the external military aggression against Venezuela. Our glorious people rejected confrontation and chose peace,” Rodríguez said through his Telegram channel.

The president in charge also paid tribute to the martyrs of that morning, when imperial forces kidnapped President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Cilia Flores. “Honor and glory to the fighters who fell on #3Ene,” he said.

He highlighted the popular clamor for the freedom of the presidential couple, “reaffirming that Venezuela wants to preserve its sovereignty and independence. Unid @s, we continue to move along the path of growth, dialogue and Bolivarian Diplomacy for Peace,” he emphasized.
