The president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez, welcomed the signing of new bilateral energy agreements with the United States, stating that this alliance represents an opportunity for social development.
During a joint press conference with the Secretary of Energy of the United States, Chris Wright, in the context of the signing of energy agreements, Rodríguez pointed out that industrial reactivation will not only create direct and indirect jobs, but will reactivate related sectors such as services, food and hospitality.
“Venezuela is much wider than our differences,” he said at the same time that he indicated that starting today we will see the transformation. “We will see a Gran Sabana with roads, electricity, water and infrastructure,” he said.
He also pointed out that the National Government wants workers to have good salaries, for a citizen to go to a hospital and be well cared for, for quality education and for the people to be blessed with social investments. “The other option was to remain contemplative watching those lost fields without doing anything,” he added.
The president in charge called on professionals and technicians, Venezuelan talent, to return to their country to lead the new phase of industrial growth.
