The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, stressed this Wednesday that the agreements signed with a delegation from the United States (USA), led by the Secretary of Energy, Christopher Wright, will be beneficial to both countries.

In statements to national and international media, from the Miraflores Palace, the president in charge said that “it is a historic day because of the combination of the agreements and what those agreements contain to develop green fields.”

He indicated that Venezuela had not developed green fields for decades, and now it does so “with allies, Chevron, a US company that has been in the country for more than a century, Eni, an Italian company that has been in Venezuela for more than three decades, together with large international companies to develop the hydrocarbon industry for the benefit of the Venezuelan people.”
