The president in charge of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, warned this Thursday about the climate emergency affecting the entire world, so she ratified her call for ecological awareness.

“Yesterday we also saw a landslide like never seen before in Nepal, which affected Nepal, which affected China and I always call for conscience, for ecological awareness, that we take care of nature. We are living in times of climate emergency, very high temperatures,” warned the president in charge.

While supervising the School Recovery Plan in Catia, Rodríguez noted that high temperatures “then turn into evaporation and thunderstorms. So, we must really have that awareness of what it means to take care of nature, to appreciate nature,” he emphasized.

In this regard, he reported that he asked the Council of Ministers for a Venezuela Renace Ecological Plan, “for the care of basins, for repair where soils need to be repaired, where we need to intervene, that we make a joint effort between all citizens and between all citizens so that we give that love that Mother Nature deserves,” he said.
