Delegations appointed by the AN for international parliamentary forums

In compliance with the powers conferred by articles 133 and 134 of the Internal and Debate Regulations, the National Assembly of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela appointed the deputies who will make up the delegations to various multilateral parliamentary bodies.

This composition guarantees the incorporation and representation of the Venezuelan Legislative Power in international settings during the current period.

Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino)

The delegation to the Parlatino will be chaired by the deputy the first vice-president of the AN, Pedro Infante. The team of principal and alternate parliamentarians was formed as follows:

For the Mercosur bloc, a wide representation was appointed, including, among others, the following legislators:

Other international organizations

The National Assembly also defined the directives for other strategic spaces of integration:

Parliamentary Network of the Movement of Non-Aligned Countries (MNOAL): Chaired by Jorge Rodríguez, with Deputy Vielma Mora as a substitute.

Amazonian Parliament: The presidency falls to Jacqueline Faria, accompanied by Francisco Martínez as a substitute.

Indigenous and Afro-descendant Parliament: Represented by Pedro Requena and his alternate Kariela Aray.

With these appointments, the Venezuelan Parliament strengthens its presence abroad, by promoting parliamentary diplomacy at multilateral levels.
