Deportivo La Guaira extended their lead in Quadrangular A in the Final Phase of the Venezuelan Football League (FUTVE League) Opening Tournament, after beating Anzoátegui FC 3-1

In the match, played at the Olympic Stadium of the Central University of Venezuela, the goals came courtesy of José Alí Meza at minute 54′, Jorge Gutiérrez at 75′ and Manuel Sulbarán 90+4′. While the discount came by Jhon James Pacheco at 80′.

For their part, UCV FC and Portuguesa FC equaled 2-2 at the Olympic stadium in the capital city. For the locals, Samuel Sosa scored in the 20th minute and Alexander Granko in 90+2'. While for the visit they scored Aitor López at 39′ and Rodrigo Febres at 90+6′.

Quadrangular B is led by Deportivo Táchira after dominating 1-0 Metropolitanos at the Pueblo Nuevo stadium, San Cristóbal, with a goal from Bryan Castillo at 21′

In the other bracket, Carabobo FC and Academia Puerto Cabello equalized 0-0, at the Misael Delgado stadium, Valencia.
