The deputy of the National Assembly (AN), Jesús Fanía, assured that the bonus measures granted by the National Executive to the five prioritized sectors cannot currently cover all areas of work, however, the number of beneficiaries of these bonuses is being contemplated, as the country's economy progressively recovers.
During an interview on the program A Pulso, broadcast by Venezolana de Televisión, the president of the Permanent Commission on Economy, Finance and National Development of the AN, stated that Venezuelan workers understand the great adversities that the country has faced.
In this scenario, he pointed out that workers assume the demands announced by the president in charge of the Republic, Delcy Rodríguez, as an important step forward in the face of current expectations, because the State is working to expand its economic capacities and improve labor income.
Faria said that May 1 is “a day of struggle with great challenges” for peace and labor demands in our country and in the world and added that workers will continue the fight for the full deployment of productive forces for the economic improvement of the nation.
He thanked the workers for their resistance and efforts in the face of sanctions and economic blockade, in addition to pointing out that the State is committed to ensuring compliance with workers' requirements and increasing social protection policies.
On the other hand, Fanía asserted that in Venezuela there are fascist forces of the extreme right that have dedicated themselves to promoting the destruction of the national economy, in addition to having stimulated unilateral coercive measures and sanctions against the country, as well as being the fundamental causes of the drama that the nation went through in past years.
With regard to the small demonstrations promoted by supposed union sectors, they are in complete isolation, since the proposals they propose are part of an “appalling demagogy”, he said.
