The Deputy Minister of Prevention, Public Security and Peace Quadrants, Endes Palencia, reported that in Venezuela there are 1.9 homicide victims per 100,000 inhabitants, which represents a significant decrease compared to previous years.

This was stated in an interview with national media in which he explained that the country has become a safe territory thanks to the popular, military and police fusion.

In this regard, he mentioned that this year there has also been a “substantial decrease” in complaints of acts of vandalism in school structures.

Palencia pointed out that all these security efforts are largely due to the promotion of the Peace Quadrants, an assertive citizen security policy led by the Bolivarian Government, with the objective of guaranteeing security and peace in the national territory.

In this regard, he specified that in Caracas the Peace Quadrants managed to work “perfectly” with the territorial political axes that exist in the capital city.
