Diana Bellorín wins silver medal in Weightlifting in Havana

Venezuelan athlete Diana Bellorín won the silver medal in the Pan-American Youth Weightlifting Championship that takes place in Havana, Cuba.

The Venezuelan won the silver medal at the start with a lift of 89 kg, and also achieved fourth place in a lift with 110 kg. In addition, with a total of 199 kg, she reached third place in the overall standings.

The information was released by the Ministry of People's Power for Sports. “Its performance is a true reflection of the hard work and the promise it represents for the future of Venezuelan weightlifting,” the publication said.

The Pan-American Youth Weightlifting Championship takes place in Havana, Cuba from March 11 to 14. The Venezuelan national team is made up of 16 athletes, eight male and eight female.
