This Wednesday, October 7, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, stressed that 14 years after the triumph of Commander Hugo Chávez, in the presidential elections of October 7, 2012, “it was a victory that marked us all.”
“That constructed victory, worked with the whole situation that Commander Hugo Chávez was experiencing (...) he didn't register on the date because he wanted to take some full exams as he was, because he wasn't going to give hope to the people,” he emphasized during his Con El Mazo Dando program, on broadcast number 584.
He stated that Commander Chávez “is not just any person, no, no, Chávez is the leader of this Revolution, always at the forefront of his thinking and we always, always find some detail of the Commander for any situation, for the most bitter situation, you always find a Chávez sending you the signal where to go, what to do in a certain situation”.
Cabello stressed that the objective is always collective well-being “and thinking about the love he felt for his people until the last moment (...) As he said: It is not so much what we have achieved but what we can achieve, as long as we are in Revolution”.
“Those who have walked away because of whatever situation, remember Hugo Chávez and define where the battle is, on the other side of the adversary who says he has 92% but that he has nine in the street not half a block, not a third of a block or a town that was recognized by Hugo Chávez.”
He said that “let's be like Chávez, just for a little while.”
