The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, assured that the culture that public officials do not maintain contact with the people must be eradicated in the country and, on the contrary, he pointed out that they must remain in the streets serving the people.
“Those governors, mayors, deputies must go to the street next to the Town. The inefficiency has to end, there must be officials who hand over the resources to him and in the end they don't finish the work. We have to put an end to indifference, indolence, denial of the events that are taking place,” said Cabello during the start of the electoral campaign in Ocumare del Tuy in Miranda state.
In this regard, he assured that all officials and militants of the Revolution are obliged to listen to the People, beyond Chavism.
“We (Chavism) are a large majority but we have an obligation to go after the discontents, those who at some point have been the subject of psychological warfare against our country,” he emphasized.
