The general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that his Con El Mazo Dando program will continue to air.
“I don't understand. Right now (sectors of the right), they are watching the program to see if I name them and thus charge more, that's the only reason why they see it,” he said and stressed that “I do this program first because it's a way to keep us connected and in touch and tell these truths.”
He drew attention to the discourse of the right that claims to defend freedom of expression, but is committed to the exit of this program made for and by revolutionaries.
“Aren't they (the right) defenders of freedom of expression? What am I saying here wrong? Have I threatened anyone here on this show? Yes, they asked for bombings, but they are very delicate. These boys and girls who called for bombings on Venezuela are now saying Diosdado saw me as ugly and I don't know what I'm going to do.” Stop the nonsense,” he said.
He asserted that “we are going to continue telling the truths and exposing all the contradictions that you have (to the extremist right”). Cabello said that “I don't threaten anyone, I'm just telling the truth.”
