The Secretary General of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said this Wednesday, July 16, that he doubts the possibility of applying justice to the drug trafficker, former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe, in the face of the countless illegal acts perpetrated during his efforts.
“Justice in Colombia? I don't think so,” he stressed, referring to the fact that security has been increased for the judge handling the Álvaro Uribe case, for attempted poisoning.
In this regard, in his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 535, he recalled that in a previous trial there were 12 witnesses to testify against Uribe, “nine died (...) under strange circumstances and no one is investigating anything.”
He commented that “according to what you have read, the sentence against Uribe will be handed down on July 28.”
In that regard, he explained that “Venezuela and the world will have reasons to celebrate July 28: we celebrate the victory of the elections of mayors and councilors and the Popular Consultation, the first year of President Maduro's Government, we celebrate the birthday of Commander Hugo Chávez and now we are going to celebrate the condemnation of Mataraife.”
