Upon receiving the fourth flight, since the repatriation of Venezuelans to that country was agreed with the United States (USA), early this Monday morning, the sectoral vice-president for Politics, Citizen Security and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón, said that nationals will be treated under the same protocol stipulated at the beginning of the Plan Return to the Fatherland.
“They will be treated under the same procedure, under the same protocol from day one, which includes interviews, medical assistance, review of each of the cases and once each of the cases is reviewed, those who have their entire file without news, the same security agencies take them home, to their home,” he explained from Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, in the state of La Guaira, when receiving a flight from Honduras.
He recalled that all those who arrived from Mexico recently “are at home, all of them, including the children who traveled unaccompanied, who were their relatives, were there, presented the documents and have already been delivered.”
Cabello noted that “this is a procedure that is going to become routine at some point. Since 2018, Venezuela has had a plan, the Plan Back to the Fatherland, ordered by President Nicolás Maduro.”
