Diosdado Cabello: The People are the real change

Revolutionary militancy and leaders have an obligation to help advance the transformation, to move from the verticality of a government far from the People to one committed to Popular Power, said the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“We must have a government that goes to the communities to talk to the people. Here people decide, here the People are the new thing, the People are the real change,” said Cabello during the opening ceremony of the electoral campaign in the state of Aragua.

In this regard, he stressed that candidates who are elected on May 25 must avoid becoming “air rulers” and keep “feet on the ground” to help locate the People's solutions.

“We must make Commander Chávez's word alive, commune or nothing. It's the transformation,” he said.
