For the Bolivarian Revolution to be maintained over time, to last for years and to be irreversible, “it must look like the People and the People have to assume absolute control and power as it should be,” emphasized the first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello.

In his Con El Mazo Dando program, broadcast number 466, he stressed that otherwise “we are going to make a mistake with a new elite, far from the People and that is going to look like what has already been destroyed in other parts of the world, disappeared and precious time was lost”.

For that reason, he pointed out that the leaders of the political teams of the PSUV, “have to be like the People, you can't have a cop there, it's not good, you can't.”

He said that “if you have a gunshot, rest assured that at some point a rubber is going to be sprayed on it. If you have self-doubt that they think they are superior, that doesn't work. Chávez taught us a lot in these 25 years and he continues to teach us with these videos.”

He asserted that “the lukewarm people stay, those who believe that the thing is to smile a little bit at the oligarchy because they are important”.

In that sense, he swore by his life that he has nothing against María Corina Machado or Lorenzo Mendoza, “but in what they represent, because they represent all the damage that has been done to this country throughout history.”
