This Wednesday, February 4th, the general secretary of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello Rondón, emphasized that in the face of the difficult times the country is going through, “it requires all of us to raise our levels of consciousness.”

From the Mountain Barracks, he emphasized that the People have a high level of consciousness, “but leadership has to raise the levels of consciousness. There can be no room for individualism, for personalisms.”

He also stated that in this historic time the Fatherland demands “maximum unity of the revolutionary force”. At the same time, he recalled that it was Commander Chávez who always sought civic-military union.

Referring to the aggression of January 3rd, he specified that one can say that the Commander did not plow in the sea, highlighting the people's response to these events. “Today we are collecting, we, that and that is what allows us to stand firmly,” he added.
