Diosdado Cabello: Venezuela is a land of peace and tranquility

The National Government, through the various Public Security Agencies and the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), has succeeded in making Venezuela a land of peace and tranquility, said the Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace, Diosdado Cabello Rondón.

“Look up the headlines of the press from 30 years ago, see how many deaths there were on weekends in Caracas. Here 30 years ago, a young man was killed for the shoes he was carrying. Here, now there are people who come to visit, get off in Caracas and don't want to talk on the phone, until they see the town with their phone in their hand and say 'this doesn't happen in my country because there they see you with your phone in your hand and they take it away',” said Cabello during the Adaptation of the Peace Quadrants in the Portuguese state.

In the same way, Cabello pointed out that the Executive is working to guarantee the provision of patrols for communal circuits and, in this way, to form a conglomerate of care and safety.

“This is an order from President Maduro, in fact, he told us that by April 30 we should have 100% of the 5,336 communal circuits and by December of this year we should reach 6,000 communal circuits. This effort that is being made today is done with our heart and soul,” he emphasized.
