Diosdado Cabello: We condemn the attack on Donald Trump

The first vice-president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), Diosdado Cabello, said that the attack on former President Donald Trump only reveals the fragility of security in the United States.

During the usual weekly press conference, the red awning questioned the actions of the American security teams and raised his voice to refute this fact.

“Violence isn't going to get us anywhere. We condemn these events, we are glad that the perpetrator of these events was not successful, that Mr. Trump is still alive and that the American people decide what they have to decide,” he said.

He also compared the media treatment given to this event and that received the drone attack against President Nicolás Maduro. “When you see the treatment that the world press gave to that event and you compare it to the treatment that was given to Venezuela when opposition sectors tried to assassinate President Maduro, you understand where the shooting is going,” he said.
