Diploma in community tourism culminates with 60 participants in Aragua

A total of 60 participants completed the diploma course “Sustainable Community Tourism with Identity”, an initiative promoted by the Secretariat of Tourism and the Tourism Corporation of the state of Aragua, with the support of the Ministry of Popular Power for Tourism, aimed at strengthening the professionalization of the sector in the region.

The closing ceremony was attended by the Deputy Minister of National Tourism, Nadia Mignogna, and the governor of the state of Aragua, Joana Sánchez, together with other authorities.

During the training, the participants acquired tools for the development of innovative tourism, as well as knowledge in experience design, project management and collective trademark registration.

The program focused on consolidating tourism proposals with a cultural identity, promoting initiatives that generate a positive impact on communities and strengthen roots in local traditions.

The acquired competencies seek to promote responsible economic growth in the state, aligned with the development of sustainable tourism with a territorial approach.

With this type of initiative, the national government promotes economic diversification and opens up new opportunities for strengthening community tourism in the entity.
