A total of 45 surgeries were performed during a mega-day of pediatric surgery held at the Dr. Samuel Darío Maldonado Hospital in Barinas state.
According to a press release from the Ministry of Health, infants with various pathologies were treated by a first-class medical team to ensure the proper development of the procedures.
This initiative, framed in the 1×10 Good Governance policies and the National Surgical Plan, involved the participation of a multidisciplinary team of pediatric surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and support staff, who worked tirelessly to provide high-quality medical care to patients.
