The Geophysical Institute of Peru (IGP) reported that an earthquake of magnitude 6.0 was recorded early this Friday morning in the District of Lomas, province of Caravelí, region of Arequipa.
In this regard, he indicated that the epicenter was located 19 kilometers south of Lomas, with a depth of 31 kilometers. He felt strong in towns such as Chala, Atico, Yauca and various areas of Arequipa.
According to the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation (DHN) of the Navy, it ruled out a tsunami warning on the Peruvian coast.
