Emma Rodríguez won silver in the Paratriathlon World Championship (+Andalusia)

The Venezuelan Emma Rodríguez won the silver medal, the World Paratriathlon Championship, which takes place in the town of Torremolinos, Andalusia, Spain.
The parathlete placed second in the PTS2 category with a time of 1:25:03 in the sprint distance, thus achieving valuable points for the world ranking and future Olympic qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Paralympic Games, the Ministry of Sports reported.
The American Alyssa Seely won the gold medal and Japan's Yukako Hata won the bronze medal.
The Venezuelan came from being a Paralympic diploma in Paris 2024 after occupying 7th position in the PTS2 category in the sprint distance.
