Empresa La Perla de Trujillo strengthens bananas with export level

In the municipality of La Ceiba in the state of Trujillo, the company “Inversiones Agropecuarias La Perla” promotes the growth of the national economy through the process of producing and exporting bananas; this work is possible thanks to favorable land conditions, which allow obtaining a high-quality product.

Banana production, in this company alone, generates more than 300 direct jobs after the support provided by the national and regional executive. This momentum currently allows agriculture to export its products to nations such as Turkey and Belgium.

The producers assured that an estimated 60 tons of export-quality bananas are produced annually for each hectare.

In this regard, the general manager of La Perla, Juan Vera, said: “we have very good climatic and soil conditions”, and he also gave a message to all producers; “the call is to continue betting on the country, to continue growing because, in short, Venezuela has incredible export potential”.
