Authorities of the Bolivarian Government activated this Saturday in Caracas the Committee for the Care of the Families of the Victims of the Imperialist Attack of January 3, 2026, a space that will guarantee comprehensive assistance and access to justice to all those affected by the US military aggression.
The mayor of Caracas, Carmen Meléndez, and the head of Government of the Capital District, Nahum Fernández, accompanied the families of the fallen heroes and heroines in defense of the sovereignty of the Fatherland.
Meléndez explained on his social networks that this Committee is made up of a Technical Secretariat, a Technical Advisory Commission, a Victim Care Commission and a Representative Commission, in addition to the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (FANB), the various civil and criminal justice bodies, victims' organizations and government institutions.
“We firmly believe in Peace Diplomacy, as guided by our president in charge, Delcy Rodríguez,” emphasized the mayor.
